Finished sheath for a knife I made

Just finished the sheath tonight.  Knife is a stock removal blade I made from O-1 tool steel. Handle is antler with a face I carved in the end of it. 

 

  Wicket and Craig saddle skirting, brown deer skin liner, some basic stamping to pretty it up.    Added the black leather on the front just as another detail. 

 

As always constructive criticism welcome

That is art, my friend.  You have this down for sure.  Here I am this week still putzin around with pancake knife sheaths and still haven't knocked one out!

Let alone make a knife.  Fantastic handle, I really am liking these pommel carvings.

Thank you sir.    I'm not sure this is art but I appreciate the compliment.  The carvings are fun and add something to it.  I am still very much learning how to do it.

Cool.  I like the black/brown contrast.   I'm waiting for Christmas to open up my stitching pony so I can finish up on some projects that I've got waiting for it.   Hoping one day to be good as all the cool stuff I see here and elsewhere!
