Members barbedwireboutique Posted February 18, 2020 Members Report Posted February 18, 2020 1st set of chinks using cow camp saddlery dvd; I finished them up a while back but things have been pretty busy. Any advice for improvement is welcome. I want to keep improving. Quote
Members LiftPig Posted February 18, 2020 Members Report Posted February 18, 2020 They look pretty nice to me. The tooling is very crisp. Good work. Quote
Members Cattledude Posted February 19, 2020 Members Report Posted February 19, 2020 Very nice work! I couldn't tell from the photo, are the front belts held in by rivets or screws? I like to skive the strap end and lace or use Chicago screws to make a weaker or break away in case the rider gets hung to the saddle horn. It's a bad wreck to have your leggings hang you on the horn! I also use a buckles front and back, it makes it easier to put them on and get 'em off. I like to make my fringe about 1/4" x 6", it makes the fringe hang a little better. Keep up the good work! Quote
