Sailorgurl Report post Posted March 20, 2020 I have a collection of Craftool Leather Stamps that were made between 1951-1962. All are stamped with Craftool Co. and a numeric number no letters. Also with the set are some other old tools. I'm not a leather worker and thought about starting one day. 7 years later I have yet to start. My question is, should I consider selling them to someone who would love them (stamps are practically new) or keep them and hope I can one day give it a whirl. If it's the first how would I value them? I would want to be fair to the buyer. Thanks in advance!
Northmount Report post Posted March 21, 2020 Look for the same stamp numbers on eBay and see what they seem to be selling for. Some are of course worth a little more depending on how rare they are now. Tom
Handstitched Report post Posted August 16, 2020 Its a shame I saw this post so late, I would have suggested to take the brave step and enter the world of leather. You never know where it may lead you HS
