If you are bored at home and/or need some new patterns to carve and tool, check these out!  Vintage Craftaids for sale

Large craftaids:  $9 plus shipping

Small craftaids:  $6 plus shipping

Also, open to offers, especially if you want more than one.

 

As you can see, these are used.  Some of the corners and edges of the paper is worn, may have holes or tears.  The craftaids themselves however are in excellent condition, many appearing unused.  Please see the images for condition.

Notice these are not on sale at Tandy along with many others, Does Craftaid have their own site for the full range as it seems silly for the whole range not to be available

Chris, I'm afraid you don't quite understand how Tandy works. They are constantly introducing new products and retiring old, to keep people buying, buying buying!

My understanding is that Craftaid, like Crafttool is a Tandy brand and once a Craftaid is retired, it will never be produced again. Unless, of course, it proves to be so popular that Tandy thinks it's worth bringing back!

I believe retired Craftaid patterns are available in bundles in the Tandy library. Of course, they don't include the actual Craftaid template, just the design which you will have to print up, piece together and trace onto your leather.

chrisash, as @Sheilajeanne mentioned, the majority of these are discontinued Craftaids.  And for #6536, I have never seen a yellow Craftaid.  Some of these date back to 1954, and are in great shape considering the age.  Thanks for the question!
