Hi, I can cook ramen, but failed at this. My problem is you go from lbs to oz and there are both dry and liquid ingredients. I wanted to use  1/2 lb of coca butter and bees wax, but then to the almond oil, it is liquid. you wrote in one area, dump in the whole bottle, 16 oz. This is not at 1:1:2 ratio.   Nor can I go from lbs to oz.  If I did that would be 8oz of beeswax and 8oz of coca butter, the 16 oz of oil. But the first two are solid measurements and the last is liquid, so no weighing.

Please clarify.

Thank you so much,

Lori

Lori,

To make a true 1:1:2 ratio you will need to use "fluid ounces".  I assume you need to melt the beeswax and cocoa butter before measuring.  Whether you are using volume or weight, you need all ingredients in the same format.  It could be converted to volume if you knew the specific gravity of the ingredients.  Maybe weigh the pint of olive oil?  JM2C, Jim
