Quick (and most likely rhetorical) question...

When doing a straight line stitch, I get that I want to go back over my starting stitch to lock it in and then again at end.

When doing the complete circumference of a piece (like going around a wallet) 360 degrees, do I need to do the same or does overlapping the starting stitch with the end by 2-3 stitches suffice.

Thanks // Brian

Making sure I follow - if I'm going all the way around a piece...

  • start stitching without going back over it
  • overlap the start stitch after going all the way around
  • and then backstitch at the end to close it out and lock it?

Right on!

Thanks Tom! - seems obvious when I think about it but don't want anything coming undone. Cheers!
