Members spurdude101 Posted October 25, 2020 Members Report Posted October 25, 2020 I have been scouring the net for a dummy of a Colt police positive formerly known as Colt New Army Special. You know the revolver all the cops carried in the movies from the 20's thru the 40's. can't find one. even a 1 to 1 toy gun. any help? Quote
Members chiefjason Posted October 25, 2020 Members Report Posted October 25, 2020 Email Duncan's and check there. Boise Foundry does not show one. Duncan's never lists their inventory on the site though, you have to email them for it. https://duncansoutdoor.com/duncans-customs/ Quote
Members 765x53 Posted November 17, 2020 Members Report Posted November 17, 2020 The Police Positive and the Army Special are two very different guns. If you have Stohlmn's book "How to Make Holsters", The Police Positive pattern is on page18. The Army Special, later renamed Official Police pattern is on page26. Quote
Members DenoposDe Posted May 29, 2021 Members Report Posted May 29, 2021 I once thought about it. After all, I am interested in the topic of collecting police symbols. It's a good idea to look for it in collector's shops or perhaps on forums. Quote

It may also make sense to read somewhere else, maybe certain scientific articles or just where people share information. For example, I have now read a lot of similar things about weapons and police brutality on a site with great essays. Alternatively, there may also be similar interesting information. After all, I often find what I'm looking for there. Quote
