Guest Saurus Posted November 13, 2020 Report Posted November 13, 2020 Hi. I know nothing about leather so I'm after advice. I've purchased from etsy, Russian seller, a black chrome tanned cow leather face mask. No not gimp, a covid mask. I intend to wear it over a cloth mask. I know chromium is a skin irritant to some, maybe carcinogenic? My question, is there any safety issues, with wearing on my face? Toxicity? Thanks. Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted November 14, 2020 Contributing Member Report Posted November 14, 2020 I made myself a soft mask out of thin chrome tanned leather. I've been wearing it about 2 or 3 times a week, for several hours at a time, for a couple of months now. I'm still here and have no issues. Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
