I've got a cowboy machine and need to know to know the length of the  belt that goes to the head the belt on the machine has 

m57 on it i take it that it is 57 inches long. i bought the machine new. but none of the paper work gives any information on 

that.

Yes,M57 is a 57" belt.

Yes we do but you can also get it @ TSC or Atwoods or even a auto parts store it needs to be 3/8" wide.

i got one from orieiy's auto parts but it is serrated and slips unless i start it by hand ill check other places

Adjust it,the speed reducer has 2-bolts you can loosen & lower it down to tighten it.

When I replace accessory belts on my cars, I keep old ones and if they are about the right size, I cut them along the groves into 2-grove belts. They then work for another decade on my sewing machines.

Machines: Mitsubishi DB-130 single needle, Kansai Special RX-9803/UTC coverstitch, Union Special 56300F chainstitch, Pfaff 335-17 cylinder arm walking foot, Bonis Type A fur machine, Huji 43-6 patcher, Singer 99 hand cranked, Juki DDL-553 single needle (for sale)
