Members SmilinJim Posted October 2, 2007 Members Report Posted October 2, 2007 Looking for a pattern for a cap. Best way to say it is that I have a buckethead. I wear a 7 3/4-8 so a regular ballcap when they fit doesn't really look good. What I'm looking for I saw a blacksmith wearing. More of a skullcap with a very short bill. Any ideas?? Keep on Smilin Jim Quote
Members Zilla Posted October 2, 2007 Members Report Posted October 2, 2007 Have you try'd doing it in that Wild Things pattern maker? I downloaded it and theres lots of things that you can do to your hats and bags with it. Just a thought. Kev Quote
Members SmilinJim Posted October 2, 2007 Author Members Report Posted October 2, 2007 Hi Zilla, haven't even heard of wild things or whatever. Expand on what it is and where it is and I'll give it a try Jim Quote
Members Studio-N Posted October 2, 2007 Members Report Posted October 2, 2007 Hey Jimmy, there was an article in an old Leather Crafters and Saddlers Journal on making a ball cap. All mine are boxed up, but I can try and dig it out for ya. Quote
Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted October 2, 2007 Ambassador Report Posted October 2, 2007 Jim, Sorry about the delay, I'm just finishing up the instructions for the hat. I should have it all together this week, and I'll get it out to all that have asked. I'll send you another pattern as well thats not really a ball cap, but more of a flat top type hat. I think there is one on my web page that you can look at, it's black in color. Ken Quote
