That is to say, sides with defects like brands etc. I usually purchase these wholesale from Weaver but they can no longer get them, hence I need a new source. If you find someone that caters to early American craft trades, that may be a good source. I use them as sketch material for new holster designs to be sure I'm going in the right direction.
