45k & 132K6 Guide Plate screw size

Recommended Posts

I would like to add a binding plate to my bigger sewing machines.  on the 45k, I believe the Guide plate is P/N91168 and the screws fixing the plate are P/N #180f.  can any one confirm these are 3/16 x 28tpi screw?

What would be the screw needed to attach the binding plate?  would these screws also fit the 132k6?

Thank you

Matthew

They are pretty much all the same. Singer, Seiko, Juki...  were using this type of screws on basically all industrial sewing machines. They differ in length sometimes.

I even use them for attaching presser feet to the needle bar on my 45D91 ;)

Sorry i dont have any screw gauge for measuring, and yes the plate for the 45k and the 132k are the same and use the 793d screw to fix the guides on. The 45k had its binder but is pretty tricky to use, unlike the new type binders this one needs a bit more practice, on my side, as it likes to wander off to the side as there is nothing underneath to guide it. The foot for this has a step and you also have the small spring metal guide to adjust the width and guide it , maybe the needle plate 85529 with the step further over could work??
