chrisash Report post Posted August 18, 2021 Looking to make a messenger bag out or either waterproof canvas (PVC) or waxed canvas, Lots of information about drop in lining on the web , but little about how the professionals fit their linings so they are not loose and baggy. anyone glued linings onto the canvas or other methods of fixing. it looks like 100% of books on bags suggest the drop in type and variations but that does not appear to be how the expensive canvas bag makers do it, which is the methods that i am after Thanks folk
Escobar Report post Posted September 20, 2021 Hey. I'm not an expensive bag maker BUT to address the loose and baggy concerns try out some fusible fabrics. Fuse it to the lining you want and it'll give it a better feel.
