Hey, so I recently bought a beautiful leather sectional off of Facebook but has an odor of curry. I spent about 3 hours last night cleaning it. I used a 1:1 vinegar mix first and then a conditioner. As I spent $850 on the piece, I don’t want to get rid of it… Please help!

It may not just be the leather, it may be the foams throughout the whole thing. Get used to curry until it breathes its way out of the foams.

Wash it all down again, and again . . . . with a very strong lemon juice solution

Maybe if you add some rice and maybe a cucumber raita.

Sell it to me, I love curries  What size pappadums would you need for  eating a lounge suite?

@Tc1388 I think @battlemunky is right, may not just be the leather. 

Is it possible to at least  remove the leather covers  from the  foam  cushions and give them an airing? Any zips or press studs ? Or even perhaps take the whole thing outside and give it an airing,  on a fine day of course ?  Fresh air does wonders for clothing,linen etc.  just wondering if the same principal would work on  leather lounge suites? 

Obviously the previous owner loved curries, either that , it was once in the waiting  area of a curry takeaway.

same issue with me. We bought a leather reclining sofa from this page, it's in brilliant condition but the only problem is when we got it home we noticed a slightly smokey smell on the leather. It's not really bad though, you can only smell it if you put your nose right up to it but obviously id like to try and remove it.

The mrs put some baking soda on it today, hasn't made much of a difference either. Is there anything we can buy? don't really want to put anything harsh on it for obvious reasons.
