Members Outpost Posted March 10, 2022 Members Report Posted March 10, 2022 Hello, We just came across 2 Singer sewing machines in storage. One is a double stitch not sure about the model number. The only numbers i could find was W 704753. The other is model 29-4. They both have heavy duty motors. We got them up and running and would like to sell them but not sure on what the going price is. Can anyone help with how much they are worth. Quote

Members Outpost Posted March 11, 2022 Author Members Report Posted March 11, 2022 Thank you for the information. I can't make out the stamp on the oval ring, it's pretty wore off. Joan Quote
kgg Posted March 11, 2022 Report Posted March 11, 2022 I think it is a 45w-53. It is one of oddities of being a left handed sewing machine made for left handed users as indicated by the thread tensioners, thread path, the location of the pressor foot being on the inside and the tilt of the foot drive peddle. If you got a better picture of the oval nameplate it would be easier to confirm. kgg Quote Juki DNU - 1541S, Juki DU - 1181N, Singer 29K - 71(1949), Chinese Patcher (Tinkers Delight), Warlock TSC-441, Techsew 2750 Pro, Consew DCS-S4 Skiver
Members Joon1911 Posted March 11, 2022 Members Report Posted March 11, 2022 What a cool machine!! I’ve never seen a left-handed machine before.
