Josh,

Dave has provided an excellent listing of suppliers and vendors to the knifemaking craft!

Since you indicated there may be more questions in the future on knifemaking, perhaps it would be better to post those questions on one or more boards/forums catering to the knifemaking community, such as:

www.knifenetwork.com/forum/index.php

http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php?ht...foggknives.com/

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=789

They all require registration to post and it is free.

and finally, the following link contains a lot of links to great information!

Josh - a couple of questions...

1) type and style of knives you're interested in

2) forging or stock reduction or both

3) Where at in Utah?

With those answers we can pinpoint your needs/desires better and direct you to resoruces fitting those needs/desire - also IIRC there are a couple of makers in Utah and western Colorado......

Jbrd,

Here is another website-http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/index.php. Like the others, you have to register to post.

Good luck.

The late Bob Engnath set up a pretty good web site with lots of info and it has been maintained intact: Bob Engnath.

A couple of others have mentioned the knifenetwork site, and I highly recommend it as well. Good folks - in fact several of them hang out here as well.
