jack armstrong Report post Posted February 21, 2011 I cant seem to remember what its called, or how to tie a gaucho style button on reins. I remember how to make a regular pineapple into a gaucho interweave, but its the other style of button I cant remember. I think Bruce Grants book calls it a gaucho button of ? many passes. The other problem I am having is I cant find my Bruce Grant book!!!!!! Any help?

bucksnort Report post Posted September 9, 2013 Jack, If you don't find anything else & don't need it before then, I'll be in K Falls the first part of next week & you can borrow my BG book. Buck
bucksnort Report post Posted September 10, 2013 Cancel that, I thought this was a new post. I'm sure you've worked it out after 2 years.
TXAG Report post Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) Yeah, I was requesting the link in the quote I posted be updated because I could use that info about now and the link doesn't work anymore. In fact, I've found most links I've tried to follow on here from threads even just a year or two old don't work anymore. Just my luck...was trying to search more again instead of begging for help in my thread repeatedly. Edited September 10, 2013 by TXAG
bucksnort Report post Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) TXAG, I haven't seen it, but a couple of different people have told me that Bryan Neubert's basic braiding video is super good on the basic button knots. Bryan is a great teacher, so it is probably worth checking out. Buck Edited September 10, 2013 by bucksnort
TXAG Report post Posted September 10, 2013 Ok, thanks...I will see if I can look it up. I think I finally found a video I can follow for at least one type of gaucho knot. Going to try to find some others... Thanks again...
