Drill the head full of holes.

Strange stuff but effective.Made about 2 cups with white vinegar and washed steel wool. Let it work about 2 days. Tried to keep the wool submerged but it kept bubbling up. Took the wool out and it was clear. Started to apply it the next day and full of chunks of rust. Strained these out with blue shop towels. Dye went on great and looks perfect after neats foot oil. Looked in the jar today and it was full of rust again. Strained it again and there is not much left. Guess I just need to make a batch with every holster. Man is it black.

Got some vinegroon brewing. Never used it before. I usually use Neatsfoot oil. Vinegroon, then neatsfoot, or give versa?

Where did you get a larger pulley for it? I have a 225 with a clutch motor that is a bit fast.

Thanks. So far I am only making holsters for myself. And I rarely run or tumble any more when packing.

I use fired rifle brass for punches. When they get dull or bent I toss them and get another. .223 best for Chicago screws.

Wondering where to order holster retention screws. Also, how do they work? A little spring involved?

2 questions please. I have some eco flo all in one that is dried up close to shoe polish paste. Can you dilute and re constitute it? Is it water based? Also, I ordered some boot lace hooks to make an ankle holster. Looking at these I can’t see how to set them. Special tool?

Wonder if one could put a strap and buckle on the top one and buckle it to a lace up boot as an ankle holster?

I have read here about T nuts. Not sure which kind. I have used one type to bolt my machine vice to slots in my drill press base. Also used another type driven into holes in my shop doors to screw eye bolts through and hold the doors together in the middle. I tried to find screws to go through the snap base and did not find the right size. Thanks for the ideas.
