About Me
Many (including my grandson) consider me a grumpy old man. I confess, I am. My 70th birthday tapped me on the shoulder for some time after I passed it up and ignored it - I keep ignoring it, and that goes for all subsequent ones. I feel that technology is sometimes useful, BUT, over reliance on it has become a way of life. Take a look at "social Networking", folks just HAVE to keep up with every other person (known or not) at all times of the day and night. I wonder just what kind of person it is that has to know when "freddy#7942395) washes his(?) her (?) hair. When I go somewhere to purchase something and I see that NO salesperson can count change without a damned machine telling them what it should be -- when children cannot sit down with a pencil and do simple math, but can work the hell out of a handheld computer, I think we are in trouble.
