Does anyone know where I can find some 6-7, 7-8, or 8-9 chap leather with some body? I build a lot of AZ leggins and its really hard finding the heavy stuff. Thanks, Ty

Ron thanks for the compliment, most Az hand call that a good year rope strap once they put a ring of rubber on. The hand hole is plenty big, just the angle of the picture. Thanks again, Ty

Thanks Ken roughouts are my favorite! there is still some room for error. I'm still not good enough to build a real clean smoothout saddle like most saddlemakers (usually need some stamping to cover up all of my marks) Thank you Bob, I punch the holes on the binding with my machine before I strech it on. It seems to help. Howdy CW , I didn't make it to Wickenburg either. I sure wanted to take bob parks class and visit some people, just couldn't pull together the money. My shop isn't much to see but your more than welcome to stop in if you ever make it out this way. Thank you JW, hope your doing good and keepin busy.

Hi All, I have a chap yoke die, latigo holder die and cinch holder die for sale. The dies are 1 1/4" and have a few small nicks in the blades. They still cut well though. I would like to get $50 for the chap yoke die and $25 each for the latigo/cinch holder dies plus shipping and handling on each or as a set. Thanks, Ty

Kieth, I haven't been on the forum for seven months or so and I have been trying to catch up but I can't get past your saddle to look at any thing else. Great job! Your a true inspiration! Thank you very much for showing. -Ty-

Thank you Benlilly, antique does wonders. It made this saddle look far nicer than it acually is. Denice, Thanks for the compliment. This is a new tree. This cowboy rides a saddle with a Keith Gertch low moose tree built by another saddlemaker and he wanted me to build a saddle with an identical tree. I called Keith and he was very reluctant to take the order due to some heath ploblems and the fact that he hates low moose trees.lol. He finally decided to build it as long as I wasn't in a hurry, It took over a year but it was worth the wait and will make for a very happy customer. Thank you Harrington. I Know I don"t have it figured out. I have a big ol list of things that I would do different or fix on this saddle if I could. This country is not very forgiving, thats for sure! Right now this cowboy is on a wagon in norhern Az. and is not able to pick his saddle up so mabe it will stay pretty for a little while. Thank you Bob, I also love this site and all the pictures. It gives us all something to shoot for.

Pete, Thank you very much. Its far from perfect but I keep trying. Thanks Whinewine and compound. JW, Thanks. Summered as well as a person can in Az I guess. It has sure been nice to get horseback and punch some cows and get my dogs hardened up since its cooled off. hope everythings well with you. Thank you Bruce. RWB, Thanks for the compliment, If it was my saddle i guarantee a wreck would be involved (thats why I ride a ruff out i guess) I just hope He has better luck than i do

Hi All, I have been working on this one off and on for the past couple months. It is a 15 1/2" Low Moose on a handmade tree by Keith Gertch. The conchos were made by Paul Kelleher. It is going to an Arizona cowpuncher who is going to put it to good use so figured I better get a few pictures before he tears it up. Let me know what you think... Thanks, Ty

I'll make a smokin deal on this stuff! make me an offer. Thanks, Ty

I had an order for some small and medium size halters, but it fell through after I ordered all the hardware...Now I will never have another halter order to utilize this hardware. So I am selling: 40 #499 Solid Brass Loop & Rings (3/4" Loop, 1 1/4" Rings), Weaver Price - $0.71 each which adds up to $28.40 40 #370 Solid Brass 3/4" Three Sided Halter Squares, Weaver Price - $0.68 each which adds up to $27.20 41 #370 Solid Brass 5/8" Three Sided Halter Squares, Weaver Price - $0.68 each which add up to $27.88 This adds up to $83.48 without the shipping they charged me. I would like to sell this as a lot for $60.00 + $8.00 Shipping to U.S. or I would be willing to trade for a good quality hand tool (i.e. Douglas, Gomph, older Osborne) or couple good stamps (i.e. Barry King, Hackbarth). Thanks, Ty
