  1. I saw a video on youtube for doing circular sewing. What kind of foot is it? I don't know all the feet yet on sewing machines especially on industrial sewing machines. Here is the link for the video: Mooshi
  2. It's a Singer. I saw a picture of it last night when comparing the older Singer sewing machines. Maybe a VS27 or a Redeye 66? Mooshi
  3. I need to ask what to do to avoid the mess also called a "bird's nest" when sewing leather? I use 100% Nylon thread as my topthread and use a variety of threads for the bottom or bobbin thread. I found out using nylon for top and bottom/bobbin thread causes a huge mess aka the bird's nest. If I use a cotton/polyester mix thread for the bottom thread it seems to work better. Any suggestions on what thread combination to use for top and bottom threads? I assume this also has something to do with tension? Mooshi
  4. I have made and sold leather wristbands. I usually make them 1 and 1/2 inches in width and around 7 to 8 inches in length. I have found that for petite women, I seem to make bracelets that are 4 to 5 inches for the real small wrists. I normally put two sets of snaps on one end and one set of snaps on the other end. I hope this helps. Mooshi
  5. OK so I have talked to a few dealers already and shopping around for an Industrial sewing machine. Some of the dealers have mentioned they have a dvd that comes with the sewing machine if I purchase from them. Is there any chance that any of the dealers with post their video on Youtube? It seems kind of silly to pay $2000+ for a dvd when I can watch it on Youtube and compare what I am getting for my investment. I do have a videographer/video editor background but I just want to see what sewing machine looks easiest to set up and use. I want the most bang for my buck. Just a suggestion that I would love to see. I have seen videos made from actual users but some of the quality actually will make you dizzy! lol Mooshi
  6. Nice job! What kind of sewing machine did you use for the stitching? Mooshi
