FANTASTIC! I'm still working on drawing mine up, hopefully I will get it posted in the next week.

I added the clothing with MS paint after I took the picture.

Something like this but clothed and more traditional is my next endeavor. Sorry about the crude coverings, but I don't know how the site takes to nudity.

I was thinking "pin up" like a 1950's style pin up girl.

That seat is F#@$^%& AWESOME. Nothing else to say here, except maybe I hope one day a seat on my bike looks as good.

I like the swallow. Some how I get the impression that flash is not so "outside the box" for you. I think I'm going to try to carve a pin up next, maybe you'll join me for that one.

If anyone could help with this I would be very grateful. All I really need I guess is a rough idea and I can go from there. Thank you for your time and happy tooling, Dave.

Perhaps this is better, my wife turns out is pretty handy with this computer. I grew up with these things, but I never learned them very well. Anyways I'm hoping these are easier to see. -

I wish I could. I take these pictures with a digital camera and when I load them into my computer they are huge. I can't figure out how to shrink them down to a better size. If you or anyone else could tell me how to reduce their size I would be eternally grateful. Happy tooling! Dave. -

Tribal gets old fast when you are carving it, but it does sell. -

Sparrow or Swallow, either way one of my more popular images. -
Well here is my first acrylic painted piece. I'm trying to figure out how to post several others so please keep an eye out.

How are you doing Lokiprime? I'm in the Roseville area and I'm trying to network a bit along I-80. If you're interested I'd love to sit down and do some shop talk.

Well Steve you might be a ways away, but I think we should try to hook up and do a little work together. Everyone has something to share in this craft, perhaps we try some time and space to see what we can come up with?

I'm in the northern Sacramento area, but I can from time to time do some traveling. What area are you in? How did your holsters turn out? Talk to you later.

Hello everyone! Well I'm sure you guys and gals are used to hearing it all on this site. I have been working with leather for 6 short years now and I love applying my quirky tattoo style artwork to leather. I do not tattoo, but it is interesting to carve on leather (let's people have tattoos without the permanence) and it has been selling well. I am very interested in meeting progressive minded leather artists in the northern California area, no that's not a pick up line, I have found that most leather workers that I have met in this area are not able to step away from the Stohlman era floral carvings. I'm not knocking the sheridan stuff, I'm just looking to move to another step and I believe it's time for me to look outside of my box as the tattoo thing will only last so long. Well happy tooling to all and to all prosperous times! Dave of Leather Ink.
