  1. I'm very anal about stuff like that so I would restitch that small section.
  2. I agree, all the patterns I have seen say to use 4/5 oz.
  3. Most people tell me I was born 100 years too late. I am 33 year old geezer and I have never understood why a man or a teenager would ever want to get their ear pierced. I don't care if they do but it's just not my cup of tea. It always struck me funny that a young male would have it done to be different and set themselves apart from others but alot of other younger guys were doing it too so they're not really setting themselves apart.

  7. I have 8/9 and 4/5 oz on hand, is that overkill?
  8. It's for a friend of a friend so I'm not sure on specifics but I'm guessing it's a .41 mag. Should I double up with 8/9 oz for weight.
  9. I can probably borrow the gun but I guess my problem is that I have never made one for a gun that big. Is it fairly easy to build a functional holster for a gun that big?
  10. I have a guy that wants a holster for a S&W .41 with a 9 1/2" barrel. I'm not sure I can do it because I don't have a pattern. Any ideas or suggestions?
  11. Your welcome. I like this one too, it's kind of got a modernized old west look. It's also good to see another lefty.
  12. it makes it easier if you cut your needles in half and pull em through with some needle nose pliers
  13. I wasn't real clear before but it is stitched to the skirt while the holster is opened up and then the holster is folded and inserted into the loop
  14. I hand stitch it and then insert the holster through the loop.
  15. I used two coats of neatsfoot and some brown edge coat.
  16. Modern technology has got the best of me, let me try this again.
  17. I made this one for myself. I copied it from a Tex Shoemaker model for a P95 that my dad had. I really like this style of holster, I just wish I had thought of it first. Let me know what yall think.
  18. Welcome to the site Ain't Navasota the home of Chuck Norris? I have some kinfolks that live in Iola and that is what they told me anyway.
