Tandy Pattern- Downtowner Purse
gaRYW5 replied to gaRYW5's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Thanks for all the nice comments.I switched the flowers out of that pattern and used these, -
I use this black poly stuff, I got it from a construction company, they use it to line their rock hoppers. It's 1/2in. thick, this piece was left over scrap. Works great for cutting, the knife glides right over it with little drag. If you want more info e-mail me at gvonheeder@optimum.net

I'm looking for a user manual for a 31-17 Singer. Need to know how to set the depth of the needle shaft I guess that is what it's called. Had to pull the shaft out and replace it and it wasn't in the right position to begin with. Appreciate any help. Thanks

I some times move my computer chair and use the floor protector under it , works great for larger pieces, the one without the dimples ,that's for solid floors. The knife doesn't cut into it.

The most beautiful thing I've seen on here so far I believe, it's very inspiring. How many hours do have in making it?

Looks pretty good, can't wait to see it in color.

First of all the customer wanted the open trigger,he really liked it. the snake skin is Python, finished the edges with Fiebing's Dura Edge, and lined it with pig skin.

Here it is after I antiqued it. Look any better?

When was the last time anyone seen one of these purses?A coworker at my work was talking about one his mother had back in the 50s or 60s and I found one, not in the best shape, A friend found it in an old car and saved it.

Two opinions are all I need, think I'll do that tonight. Thanks, guys.

Hi, I would like to know if you put a old photo on leather and seal it would the sealer mess up the photo?
-
Heck go for it. Won't know if you don't try it. I buy the Tandy tools and try grinding curved sides straight so they will work in different places.
-
Now I know what it is .Thanks.I learned something new today.

Thanh you . My friend said just about the same thing,he likes stuff that is unique.
