i just thought everybody should know.if this is already posted here ,i apologize.heres are some comments from close friends of levi...we all know grumpy my heart goes out to him and for a fast recovery.this was posted on another website so i thought i would post it here.for all you to know..thanks Dan Hi everyone...I am a friend of Levi's. He wanted me to let everyone here know that he was in a serious bike wreck a month ago leaving work on the bike. He is still in the hospital now partially paralyzed from the waist down. Anyone who he was doing work for can email me at cpaul@molex.com and I will act as a communication line. He just didn't want anyone to think he skipped out. He is projected to be released in early December, but that is a fluid situation for now and could easily change. Let's all pray for him... Chuck Man this really freaked me! I just got off the phone with Grumpy (Levi). He is having a hard time talking because his vocal cords are paralyzed along with everything from the nipple line down. He has a positive outlook on his situation and with good reason. He has use of his arms, which the doctor indicated he is luck he is not fully paralyzed with his neck being broken. Levi strongly beleives that God is going to pull him out of this. Levi is the kind of man who does not want to burden anyone and he would never ask for anything. He appreciates all the support we can give him. I told him that we were all praying hard for him and wish him the best. I let him know about all the support he has from CC members and that meant everything to him. Hopefully I will get the hospital information really soon. I would like to take up a collection off my website in order to help him out. As soon as I get a hold of Wavecrasher or Levi's wife, I will set up the donation page and have the money sent directly to one of thier accounts so I am hands off! Hopefully this will all work out. __________________ May God make smooth the path you follow!

thanks guys!!!as far as color.i let sit in the sun for a few hours and used thinned out brown dyes to get the effect.i wanted came out cool.the pan is a customer supplied john.10-13..

this seat is for mike whitaker hes a custom bike builder in china,just a plain leather cover.great guy and customer to deal with..hope you all like..

im with kate on that one..i use lexol leather condtioner.i usually oil my seats neatsfoot oil then a couple heavy coats of lexol condtioner.and seal with pecards.it seems to make it more soft.thats my two cents...

thanks dunc and grumpy.i have a whole stack like i metioned before,every so often my buddy that owns his tatty shop will just call me up and hand me a stack of designs..so its a good reference to go by..

whats up john..no design is off the internet i think,i forget actually got a stack of pics been collecting for a while noww.it wasnt to hard to center design is on a slant anyway cause of the tophat.so i just eyed it..you been busy over at acme?made any new seats yet..noticed to you were selling your bike on craigslist any takers?did wayne sell my seat yet or is that still on display,just curious.thanks for the compliments..

thanks for the compliments .i have made in last year and half about 14-15 seats .nothing crazy recently sarted a website.and been getting more buniess its been fun and stressful at times.its a part time job for now,maybe one day could go full time.i would definitely try your hand at doing your own seat.thats how i did it.bought a brand new harley .took the stock seat off ripped the stock foam and vinyl cover off.had bought some tools of ebay got me some leather and went to town on it,came out ok for my first.got better each one i did.roger or a.k.a-beeza helped me out with a lot of questions.as far as my tooling goes not as good as daves or beeza but getting there its all a learning experience,just have fun with it.great feeling doing something on your own man seriously,any questions you have feel free to ask.good luck!!!

i dont know nothing about saddle making just motorcycle seats,that is just hands down beautiful man,i would love to see how to on making something like this .very clean from the tooling to the stitching.what color is the dye on that.thumbs up in my book!!!!
