  1. Here is a little project for a customer in Seattle. It is for a large Moleskin notebook, and is both stained and color washed with acrylics.

Awesome. I think this is the first figure carving example I have seen you post. Excellent work!
  3. Your knives are awesome, and the leatherwork good as well!
  4. Original and cool idea. Good luck!
  5. Nice job. I've been thinking about tackling that job on my car as well.
  6. Very nice design and execution.

    Awww, thanks man!
  9. Thanks Jimbob. I bought two interiors from Springfield. One to use for this item (was out of time to create one), and one to take apart and make patterns with for the future. It's a good design, but I will probably tweak it to take out some of the thickness.

  13. From the album: past work

Remnants put to use in a new cuff. Herringbone applique braid center, round braid edging, all in kangaroo lace. 4-5 oz veg tan, lined with soft tanned buffalo.

  14. Ya me too! All 412 holes:) hahahaha THANKS! "To splice or not to splice", that is the question.
  15. Sweet! Like your lacing choice.
  16. Yep, was short on time with other projects, so I used the Chaylor-Fenneli passport insert from Springfield leather. Bought two and deconstructed one for pattern making. I want to do my own in pig. I hadn't thought of Shellac, great idea!
  17. Thanks! Just a note of warning, hitting a finished piece with saddle lac to seal the acrylic is not recommended unless you like a warm patina. I have since found a good acrylic finish sealer which is clear. Live and learn...
  18. Thanks Chancey!
