  1. I use a clear varnish spray, made to seal acrylic paints. I Mask off the area, and apply a few coats. I then apply my standard finish (a light wax) followed by a mink oil or Aussie Wax. I brush on my acrylics and build up color/opacity over a number of coats, which helps to keep the paint from chipping, peeling, or scratching off. I will take an interior shot and post it.
  2. Cross body, tablet bag (iPad in this instance). Tooled, painted, and hand sewn. Interior is a buttery soft calfskin.

A Monica Jacobson inspired flap design, her work is inspiring!
  10. Yes, Hermann Oak Veg tan (6-7oz) lined with black pig. Vinegroon is a breeze, but not a fresh breeze... Takes awhile for the stink to wear out. After using the vinegroon, I dip the piece in baking soda and water, let everything dry, then add a little essential oil to the neetsfoot to help mitigate the odor. Oiling the piece helps to keep it from greying out when it gets dry. I like the fact that the dye soaks through, and beveling and trimming reveals black leather. The smell is the only drawback.
  11. A little something for myself made from leftover scrap. Vinegroon dyed, and hand stitched, a nice way to add new life to an old watch.

  13. Belt clips aren't very expensive, and don't require as much over engineering. Just a thought!
  14. Very nice! I like the clean and polished design: Not too sparse or overly worked, and your deer is perfect.
