Leather is listed in leather section asking $450 for all the leather or $350 without the elephant asking $600 for all the tools, leather, dye, etc......shipping will be a little costly to send it all so i priced this super low for a quick sale so i don't have to go back n forth everyday to the post office but if there is something in particular you need feel free to pm me with your offer located in florida for anyone wanting to pick it all up thanks ps..the big grey bin is full of rivets, snaps, and all kinds of stuff that we all use, I'm just going to stick to making belts and buckles and trying to get away from other projects since i just don't have the room to do everything -all tools in great shape, no rust or abuse here are more pics

Hi guys, My old computer had its last days so i haven't been online for a while, got a new one and cleaning out to recoup some of the expense. wanting to sell as a lot just to get it over with so make me an offer for it all if u want $450 for everything obo $350 for everything obo not including the elephant i will let you know exact shipping cost once boxed up I am also going to be posting some tools and dye so if your interested in everything let me know, ill do all the tools, dye and leather for $600 because i know shipping all of it is going to be costly, and also id rather clean up and get it over with than spend a bunch of time selling a little bit at a time. I am located in florida if anyone here is interested in picking everything up pm me with questions please and i will update whenever anything is sold, i am not opposed to selling certain things but i have priced it super low to get it done and over with. i am taking pics of the tools and going to post those within 30 min from now thanks everyone

The spray will crack sometimes. I got great results by taking a damp paper towel to it when removing the antique and it left me with a great color.

ouchmyfinger replied to ouchmyfinger's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
I have one on mine. -
we could organize a little leatherworker community action and everyone put an ad on craigslist in our surrounding areas and cover a lot of the country i bet as long as everyone pitches in and spreads the word let me know ill do my part and cover all of florida i had something stolen from me in 7th grade and when i find that guy I'm still going to punch him in the face lol, and yes that was about 20 years ago but i feel that it has still not passed my own personal statute of limitations or whatever its called

Maker Stamp From Grey Ghost Review
ouchmyfinger replied to ouchmyfinger's topic in Leatherwork Conversation
Pm me your email address and ill send you a pic of mine. -
hey everyone, i just received my new maker stamp from jeff and lisa at grey ghost graphics and wanted to let you know how it was. first the experience was top notch. the service i received was A+ and the product is an A+ as well. I have had another stamp made before by some random person and it was too short and the detail wasn't there which made the surface area too great to get a nice impression so i decided its time to get a new one. I was checking out the website the night before and had a few questions so i emailed them and he responded very very quickly and told me to give him a call. Well by the next morning not only did i speak with him and he answered all of my questions, i had another email with a proof of what my maker stamp would look like sent to my email for approval. Of course i approved and he told me it would go out the next day. Well he called me later and said that he got done with some stuff a little faster than expected and made my stamp and had it in the mail that same day. I just tried my stamp out and it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! The stamp it top notch, it is long enough to not bash your fingers and not too long, it is round and has a line running down the tool to help with alignment which was impossible with my last one. it is beveled towards the end so i can see the leather for precise placement on my leather. So not only do i get perfect alignment i also get it exactly where i want to put it very easily. The material it is made out of is top notch as well, its not as plastic feeling as others i have seen and does not seem to bounce my maul back at me like my last one did (same maul, leather, working surface, etc) it also comes with a perfect fitting *and matching ) * black cap to protect the end of the tool, i can throw it in my drawer with other tools with confidence that it will not be damaged. they didn't have to knock my stamp out and ship it fast, i actually told them no rush. its little things like that which make a business stand out and keep their customers and I'm sure that everyone else that got a stamp from them has sent them business just by word of mouth. my phone camera is acting up so ill get pics soon or just shoot me a pm and ill send one to you to your email address when i get them downloaded what it really comes down to for anyone reading this.......the impression, clear, detailed, easy to use, great price for a great product. I got a perfect result every time. anyone interested i would recommend to give him a call and tell him you read a review on leatherworker and maybe you could save a few bucks ) if your reading this at night and check out their website i would say you can go ahead and order one with confidence right off the website and have no worries let me know if you have any questions about it

I Have 2 Huge Machines And Tons Of Materials
ouchmyfinger replied to carla1961's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
there is a classified section it the forum below this section, almost all the way to the bottom. take pictures and post them, it will help it sell. you may have to break it down into different sections on there but i do see that some people just buy the whole lot on more than one occasion so you may have scored on that one -
i just don't know if i can stitch through the stingray or alligator or do i have to pre drill my holes and hand stitch that. i was thinking about doing just a large style inlay with a border around it of veg tan so i can get great edges but i need to know what i can stitch through and what i can't. your right though, i tried that burnishing method and never went back, its soooooooooooooooo much better and you can use the same color dye that you use to paint in the background to dye the edges and it makes everything match and so much more appealing to the eye its the little things we find out that make our products better than the average joe, thats why i love this site thanks
