  4. I really feel bad. I am so sorry If I have created a problem. I have really appreciated all I have learned about tools from Leatherworker.net. It really is a fascinating place. I often turn rookies on to the site for helpful information. I have learned a lot. I really appreciate their honesty, integrity of all those who have been willing to help and I hope I can do the same for someone else in the future. Really -- I admire what you all do. You are all very talented and gifted individuals that I have learned from and I thank you all. ON top of that the leather work community has provided incredible friendships with very wise men and I have found them to be a very helpful group of people. It truly is a hidden gem. I can't tell you how many have offered tips on casing leather, to stropping a knife to how to finish a project. Many of my "clients" have become great friends because I help them and really I feel helped most by them. Sorry Art and others who may have been bugged by my posts. I truly am. I'll lay off on asking about tools for a while. What you have here is a great thing and I only want to add to the value of the board. But I have to say, I love it when I come on here and someone has asked about swivel knives and/or Gomph tools or whatever and they have pictures and can tell the history of the tools. It is a beautiful history of leather tools. I wish we could somehow organize some of the great info that has been shared on this board. Simply fascinating. Best wishes all! Hope you have a great day. And hopefully I will have the privilege of meeting a few of you. I know it would be awesome to chat about leather tools.

  18. This is just my second wallet. I need lots of improvement. First time experimenting with different colors as well as fading the dyes from center out. I've always just done one solid color with some block on it. Welcoming any feedback. Really just trying to learn the craft a bit better. Thanks for looking.

  21. So I have traced and carved a dragon on a wallet similar to the one below. No I did not do this fine piece of work - wish I could. I'm to the staining part and was looking for any tips on staining with mulitple colors like this. Where can I go to find some instructions? I really love when leather fades from a dark to a lighter color. Just not sure how to do it. Never been taught and never seen it done. Do you think this is all airbrushed on? Any help would be great. Thanks.
