  1. Not an expert by any stretch but on the holster for my bersa I had an idea I wanted to try. I used my wife's food saver, put the pistol in a bag sucked out all the air then put my cased leather and the pistol in another bag sucked out all the air and boned the holster while it was in the bag. I got pretty good definition on 6/7 wt. The only problem now is that I wasn't to careful spacing my stitching, too close to the pistol outline so the holster is to tight. I am going to work on that problem tomorrow after the finish has dried. Oh yea, the bags do leave a very small diamond pattern on the leather.
  2. I'm new to this forum and intro'd in another section. Thought I would try to post some pics of my work. Lots of glare in them for some reason guess I need to work on my camera skills, glad it's digital otherwise it would cost a fortune to get usable pictures. LOL. Jordan

Thanks for the welcome, Clinton, not to far north of SLC. I will add some pics when I get some time to resize them. I am working on a conceal holster for my Bersa right now, hope to expand that into income eventually.
  4. Hello all, the name is Jordan, I live in Northern Utah, I have been leatherworking since medical disabilities kicked in about two years ago. I am currently selling my leatherwork at the Farmers Market on saturdays in downtown Ogden on Historic 25th street. It has been great so far, I think next summer will be better as I will have most of the winter to come up with inventory, prototypes, new items etcetera.
