  1. SOLD to Sony Studios for the Ghostbusters Film. Had hoped some leatherworker would have bought and loved it but.........
  2. I have a very clean Juki LU-562 for sale. Recently serviced. Currently sewing with #92 thread. This machine has reverse and a Consew clutch motor. Includes owners manual and parts book. located in Hartford county Connecticut. I would like $850 for it. Contact me at jmr165@gmail.com
  3. Okay, I'm not a real tech person. I'm sure and can find a friend or two who can help. I will add it to the list of thing to get done.
  4. I hadn't thought of them. I had gotten a few things from them in the past for my Singer 29-4. Thanks
  5. I had a model 29-4 with the treadle. I had made a removable flat bed table as well. Very handy machine. I wish I had hung onto it. I sold mine. At the time it was not being used much since I have two other modern machines. There is a site you can look up the serial # for the production year. Also has reproduction treadles, but if you keep looking you should have no problem finding an original.
  6. I have 2 of the small Stohlman round knives. I had a large one but never liked it always dull. The small came nice and sharp and has stayed that way. I think they have been discontinued. I prefer on my lighter leathers to use a roller knife. I would also suggest polishing the edge. Or just stay with what you are comfortable with.
  7. Had a little time on my hands and built a stitching horse using my vintage one as a model. Thought I would share my results.
  8. I acquired this rotary punching machine a few years ago from Eli at Landis. I have been unable to find any literature on it. Here is what I know. It was distributed by C.S. Osborne and sold for $40.00 back in the day. I know this because Osborne was kind enough to send me a copy of the ad. It is fun to use and, since I love old leather equipment, I think very cool. Does anyone know where I might find more literature of information on this fine piece of equipment?
  9. Hi Walter, Your work is beautiful! I too love the German tools. I have several German made punches that I prefer over my Osborne punches. I have found it very difficult to find them. I envy you collection of fine tools.
