  1. Thanks guys. I've gotten alot of information to work with.
  2. tempting though. The measurement that weaver gave me foe the Adler was to short from needle slot to edge of plate. Really can't go anywhere with that. But you could do something here. As you said an expensive experiment. To bad the weaver plate was only $99.
  3. thanks for the pictures with the measurement. Would you have a measurement the other direction to the needle slot?
  4. The service DVD that I purchased from Tony Luberto Sewing states that the Bull was built off a Consew 754r. Consew does not offer a Holster plate.
  5. Looking for a holster plate that will fit or could be modified to fit my Ferdinand 900b Bull. I am hoping that this will allow me to sew the welting to the flaps of an English saddle. That said I am not sure whether a holster plate or a stirrup plat would be better. I emailed Cowboy to see if there plate might fit. But haven't heard anything yet. I spoke with Weaver the screw pattern seems correct but the needle slot is off.
  6. oops correct number is 860-690-6680. Thanks
  7. New Hampshire is pretty close for me. Do you still have the splitter? Can you please contact me. Either call or text. 860-690-2020. Thanks
  8. I have a brand new adjustable Osborne V groover. I ordered it and found out what I really needed was a U not a V. Would you be interested?
  9. This is totally out of my comfort zone. I work mainly with english tack. A friend has asked me to make her a back quiver and cover it with a fox fur hide that she purchased for the quiver. Can anyone tell me where to find dimensions or spec's for the quiver and ideas how to attach the fur. Thanks
  10. See if the Cowboy 4500 has a buckle foot available for the machine.
  11. Ken, Wondering if you found your parts and where they finally came from?
  12. Ken I went on Consew.com and located a parts book. Looks like the foot is part # 28472. Here are more pictures of the Bull including the boat anchor of a foot I purchased. Let me know if you need other pictures posted.
  13. I have attached two photos of the presser feet that came with my Bull. I think the foot you are looking for is the one pictured on the machine. This is the one I like using the most. I had not seen this foot until I bought my own Bull. I also have a 900B I use at my work with the skinny foot. I also have 1 more foot I bought from Ferdco. a long time ago. It is a buckle foot, used to get close to hardware like buckles and rings. It was a waist of money.
  14. I double checked my note about the 900b, I was built from the consew 754. That should be helpful in finding parts. Tony is back in Moosup CT. The classic is another nice machine. His # is 860-564-8252. Hope this helps.
  15. I spoke with Tony Luberto from Windham Cub late last year. He is back in Connecticut and used to sell the Bull. I have one myself and love it. He might be helpful. I am in Connecticut and he told me he could get some parts for me. You can get in touch thru his web site. I think the machine has interchangeable parts with Consew.
  16. No cracks, splitter is solid and adjustable. I am located in Connecticut. Sorry none of this really matters as I sold the splitter 1st part of the week. Happy thanksgiving.
  17. This is a very nice #86 10 inch pull splitter by CS Osborne. It is sharp and ready to use. $350.00 plus US shipping
  18. I have a Ferdinand Bull that I like very much. Also have used a Juki which was a very nice stitcher as well. I like the double walking foot.
  19. Thanks Bruce definitely interested. Sent you an email earlier today. Can't wait to see some pictures.
  20. Looking for a Harrington round knife made in Southbridge Ma. Just missed a nice one on ebay.
  21. My boss has a Pfaff 545 sewing machine that she uses for horse blanket repairs and leather chap repairs. The machine stitches great. The only time she has problems is when she stitches english half chaps with elastic stretch panels. The bobbins bunches and jams when stitching thru the leather and elastic. Its fine thru straight leather. Any ideas? Her old Singer never had this issue. Could it be the needle?
