70s Western belt
lablevens replied to lablevens's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Thanks Tom -
Back in the 70s they made a western belt that was lace over the edges of the belt. The edges were puff out between wraps.Would like to know how they got this leather to puff out? .Don't know if puff is the right word. Thanks

Maybe roll was the wrong word to use.It would need to be ground down about 1/8 inch all the way around and then a new edge done.My grandson hit it just a little to hard.Update:I just spoke to the folk down in Texas and I'm going to have a clicker die made. Thanks for the reply

This is my new rifle sling for my Marlin .I did the weaving on the upper part of the sling. The ends are buffalo and five weight leather for the straps.I have NO mechanical fasteners on it.It only took me three years to do this. But it's done.
