  1. I already have it boxed up to ship. The other buyer backed out because the price for shipping to canada for a 10 pound box was very pricy. The price for shipping in the US will be calculated and added to the $199. It will be no more than $30 (new york to california is 30 so everywhere else will be less in the lower 48). Blade was just sharpened. It's in very good condition nothing is wrong with it at all. Great piece of machinery that will open up possibilities for you to make tons of different pieces! Let me know if you have any questions Stock Image : http://imgur.com/7cNaUQH -Aidan
  2. I would suggest posting this in leather classified on reddit as well. It will probably sell fairly quickly.
  3. Hey there! This description is also on imgur, but here goes : Total I have ~6.5 sq. ft. of Black Shell Cordovan and ~ 6 sq. ft. of Color #8 Shell Cordovan. I have 8 individual pieces for Black, and 9 different pieces for Color #8. All together that makes 12.5 sq. ft.. Im selling it as a lot for $950 SHIPPED, which comes out to $76/foot. I'm selling the shell because I bought it months ago, forgot I had even ordered it and then one day it just showed up to my house. I've used up a few pieces, but ultimately I'm looking to make higher end pieces made from exotics and last time I checked the shell cordovan isn't alligator. ha. Well anyways I thought I'd pass on a pretty good deal IMO to my fellow leatherworkers. You can contact me at hello@lopalo.com for all inquiries. Thanks for looking Pictures of all of the shell here . I can take more photos if you request them. -Aidan

  5. Great thank you very much. I'm sorry for the post pollution
  6. You said it best yourself. You can get a shell of Clayton which is about 1.5-1.75 sq.ft. You can't find Horween shell for sale ANYWHERE. Believe me, I searched for months. Pieces on eBay that are the same size as mine have been sold for $190. I understand my prices may seem high, but I'm willing to work with people and sell smaller pieces for a cheaper price if need be
  7. I'd consider myself a supplier of shell cordovan after collecting quite a bit of it. You can get in contact with me about Horween shell cordovan in colors #8 and black at hello@lopalo.com . Due to the EXTREMELY long wait time at Horween I thought I'd help some of my fellow leatherworkers out. Thanks for looking -Aidan

  13. I'm selling 41 sq. feet of Horween Chromexcel Grade 1 Hides. These hides are straight from Horween and are NOT from a reseller like Maverick Leather. They are grade 1 cream of the crop chromexcel hides. I'm selling them for $9.99/sq.foot . I will NOT cut these hides. The minimum order is one WHOLE hide. Contact me about shipping rates, and any questions you may have. Thanks! -Aidan To see some products made from this leather feel free to check out all of my wallets that are made from this same Brown Chromexcel on my website : www.lopalo.com .

  15. So I finally cracked and spent the $700+ on a Fileteuse Edge Creaser with one tip (F2). So far it seems excellent and I'm satisfied with it. Stay tuned for more projects but for now here are just a few pictures of it.

  17. Looks good! How long did it take ?
  18. Any suggestions? I'm planning to make more made to order, higher end wallets and would like any advice on how to reach my customers and fulfill their needs. My plan is this : Engage using Instagram and Facebook more, actively post everyday Start putting out content on reddit and post a step by step process post with pictures of how I craft a wallet to generate some buzz (and cause it'll be fun of course) Email marketing, direct mail, flyers, even google adwords is all in the past folks... I'm looking for newer ways to attract clients at a higher price point for custom european style wallets ( not what's on my site ) . Thanks in advance for any advice and insight you provide. - Aidan
  19. Do you still have the heated edge creaser? I will buy it off of you. Please just reply to this comment if you do. Thanks
  20. Can anyone point me to a shop where I can buy a nice quality leather edge creaser. Its fine if its used! I just don't want to pay $600+ for one at the moment... Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
