  1. I'm just asking him for his reasoning behind what he said. Criticism is fine. I just want to know the reasoning behind it so I can improve on my business
  2. 1) What do you think is a reasonable price then? Why do you think it's overpriced? 2) The products I ship out to my customers are not marked up with pen at all. I will change the picture as soon as I can. I'm a little short on time at the moment due to all of the orders I have been receiving. 3) You're 100% right. That doesn't make it a bad thing though. The Horween Leather Products niche is definitely alive and well. It sets me apart from the other thousands of leather goods companies that use cheap leather. 4) I don't use machine stitching. The stitching is not crooked on my products. If you could link me to the photo that the stitching looks crooked in that'd be great. I have looked into thinner thread but am sticking with .8 mm thread. I assume you make leather goods? Id be interested in checking out your products.
  3. It didn't do much in terms of sales, but I get a few people that trickle in from it each day.
  4. The only one I can think of is etsy. Since this post I have made many sales. I can say my presence on YouTube (just from one video) has brought me in the majority of my sales. I'm definitely marketing on Instagram / a little bit on facebook which has helped me with a couple of sales. The real money to me seems to be in the wholesale side of things.
  5. A die which instead of just having edges to cut out the piece, it has prong like pieces to punch out the holes
  6. When you punch out the leather with a die cut "mold" is there anyway you can get a die that also has the stitching holes so you can click it all out at once?

  8. Since I have read that stamping chromexcel with a mallet and a traditional metal stamp is out of the question, I'm wondering how easy it would be to stamp the inside (non finished side) of the leather with an ink stamp. I know embossing is an option but I would rather not shell out the money on an embossing iron, etc. I would imagine that the stamp would have to have a good amount of ink applied to it each time for the stamp to fill in nicely. Horween clearly does this on their hides, so if anyone could link me to a site that sells custom stamps that would work in the situation i'm describing reply with the link below! Thanks as always
  9. Waiting for mavericks new shipment to come in!
  10. Hi, today I have a question about clicking dies for cutting out leather. If i don't want to shell out a bunch of money for a press, can I just order the clicking dies and hammer them out by putting a board on top of them? Also I'd only be wanting to cut out very simple shapes like the wallets on my website. Thanks guys!
  11. Oh wow I found myself on page two under horween leather bi fold. Pretty cool!
  12. Are you sure?? I just searched it and I'm on page 6 and still don't see myself...
  13. What's the longest pricking iron you've seen? I'm talking in terms of how many teeth they have. If you could link me to some that would be great.
  14. Never have but from the looks of how yours turned out I might have to
  15. Chromexcel is always a pleasure to work with. Nice pieces
  16. Wow these look great. Have seen them on another store but your use of the white stitching makes it "Pop" way better.
  17. Looks very nice. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it sell for?
  18. I do know I have posted about learher suppliers before. I'm looking for 3/4 or 4/5 ounce chromexcel. I can only find Sheridan leather (which doesn't have any in stock at the moment) and maverick leather (which is all second quality horween leather) and the tannery row (which I hear has a wait time of 6 weeks) if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great.
  19. So you just fold the fabric over near the edge? Can you show me a picture of this
  20. What did it take you to get ranked so well? (money keywords etc. please do tell). I also know there is no one straight forward answer
  21. I have since made my first sale. Last night got 2 orders out of nowhere. I also recently struck a deal with a store for a large order so at the moment I am fairly busy. @roostershooter What do you mean "nationwide ads"? And also did you make your $800 running your ad on the radio?
  22. I'm wondering how to line a wallet. Take a simple card wallet for example. How do I go about lining a wallet with fabric, and sewing it. Also can someone link me to some quality suppliers of fabric? Thank you in advance.
