  1. no clue bubbajon... my granite freebie (about a 14x14") is polished to a glass-like finihs on everyside but the bottom
  2. thanks Colt Holly and Airth good luck and happy tooling!
  3. bad jokes... this naked blonde walks into a bar.... jk add plz
  4. That's next on my list.. I'm liking the Barry King mauls. I notice they come in several weights/sizes... I assume the one you would choose would be based on the weight of material you're tooling? (heavier maul for 13/15 skirting vs using a lighter maul for 4/6oz bag material?)
  5. Thank you Rohn I just scored a piece of granite today from a countertop shop. I can hardly wait to try it out.
  6. very cool work - nice detail on the terminator piece especially liked that one. what type of paint/dye are you using (and i'm assuming you're sealing with something as well) (noob to this stuff)
  7. Nice work, and a great looking piece =]
  8. Great work there, the second one is nice, simple design and great functionality. Thanks for sharing!
  9. The pics didn't make it through!
  10. Nice work, i really like the perspective background behind the leaves and grapes.
  11. Monica your work is clean and inspiring! Very well done =] (I really digged the scales on one of your bags) I have a couple questions for ya if I may pick your brain..
  12. Hi everyone... Here are a couple projects i have done for practice on skirting remnants from the feedstore. The koi is my 4th piece, and the flower is 5th (my last piece) I am planning on getting more tools as I can (need to get a smooth pear shader first, mine is textured and I'm not super happy with how petals look with it) I did these on a wooden cuttingboard with a lightweight epoxy mallet from Harbor Freight and a basic starter set of 6 tools from Hobby Lobby. Looking into gettin a piece of granite, seems to be the preferred surface to tool over. pointers and comments welcome!!!
