  1. bebah I used to have a truck that looked just like yours. Some times ya just gota be BAD! Regards Buff
  2. MBOGO It's a local business. I take him the leather before I cut it out. He only charges about $10. for something that size. ATX One coat of Neatsfoot oil then Saddle Lac, on Wicket & Craig leather. I've done a lot of laser work with no problems yet. I don't seal until I'm all finished with everything else. Regards Buff
  3. Thanks for the comments. MBOGO it was laser engraved. Buff
  4. I just have reason to believe that he has ripped of at least 1 possibly 2 more members on here. If that is the case I'd like to hear from them and maybe we can put a stop to it before more members get ripped off. Regards Buff
  5. I think a member of the forum has ripped me off of some leather. Several months ago I sent them some leather to tool for me. Now after 6 months of trying to get ahold of them, with emails and unreturned phone calls all I can assume is the worst. If the same thing has happened to you PM me and maybe we can exchange notes. I don't want to put the name on here. But maybe if you have had something similar happen we could do something to put a stop to it before someone else gets ripped off. Regards Buff
  6. Jim PM me your new phone number. Or email me about those belts. Thanks Buff

    Moose Hide

Fox Valley does not tan anymore. Last I was in there they only had a few hides left. Regards Buff
  8. Very nice! Clean and just plain beautiful work. Buff
  9. I made these for my son last summer out of 10oz Wicket & Craig with chap leather gussets. We found a plastic box the right size and made them just to fit the box. So far they are still just like new. Buff
  10. I was thinking about making one for myself. There is a company here close that makes these rawhide covered trees. They work real well on any animal I've tried them on. But the guy only makes them when he feels like it, so they are pretty hard to get. I sure would like to find somewhere else to get them. Regards Buff
  11. Where can I get a rawhide covered pack tree. Buff
  12. I can't remember where I got this picture. Does anyone know anything about this pack saddle? Or have you made anything similar. If so how did you like it? I'm trying to figure out the rigging on it, how the 3 ring piece is connected. Regards Buff
