They certainly ain't cheep !!! .... I think it cost me about £280 ish inc shipping from France ... The base model isn't much dearer than a Dixon or Blachard but much much better made ... -

I like this it's a nice clean piece ... Your finishing is good nice and tidy ... Your like me I seem to be obsessed with lining everything at present !!! Trouble is I think it's how everything should be finished which is rubbishy really but I can't help it tends to make everything more complicated !!! And more expensive !!! .. Nice work .. Colin ... -
I think the slot and chrome Anchor piece should have a leather strap attached with a stirrup attached on the other end ... You use it with either your leg over it and add tension with the stirrup or attach it to a table or log and do the same thing ... I have a clam made by FRED MOREAU he makes awasome custom clams ... Or did I think mine was one of his last ones. I'll stick a photo on my bits album .. Colin -

I really like the look of this bag !!! Must have taken an age just to work out the panels let alone put it together !!! .. I haven't played for a while but I bet it gets a few admiring looks and comments. It has a classic look about it and I like the choice of leather and colour very cool project .. Colin ... -

I believe they are called ring post or "D" posts ... I bought a load of them a while ago again on Etsy from a Korean supplier ... Hope this helps ... I'm looking for some fancy designed ones at present, found a skull design one but want something different. If you find anything like that let me know ok !! ..

Thanks again ... I found them on Etsy one of the Korean suppliers ... Not bad quality either I was worried when I ordered them but they were ok .. Took ages to come though !! ... -
It is Nigel's design .. I watched the video and loved the look of the bag ... I lined it with suede just to finish it off and it turned out ok I think ... Thanks Tugadude ... -

Thanks for your kind comments much appreciated ... I've been leather working about a year or so now so not that long but learning all the time ... You are right it is all hand sewn using saddle stitch and all I could advise Paul is find a technique that works for you and be consistent, repetition repetition repetition !!! ..... Colin ...
