Hi Anthony, I stamped on to damp veg tan (cased) , then when i was dyeing the leather i used a cotton rag and gently buffed over the area, leaving the stamped impression dye free. then leather protect over the top of the lot. I'm not too sure if that is a legit way to do it, it just seemed like a good idea and i think it kinda works. Alex

so i wanted to make a wallet for my grandfather. i bought the pattern that Ian Atkinson (Leodis leather) has for sale. and got some lower quality leather from LeProvo's clearance section and well here we are. -

2 external straps (they started as collars) with a small trigger clip handle strap to create a horizontal carrying handle. the staps are stitched onto the body of the roll. -
