  1. Love the work, looks great! I'm upgrading my shop and tools, and I love the look of that chisel set. I should probably know this, but what type is it? Also, that awl looks very comfy. Any info is appreciated, thanks!
  2. Everything is bigger in TX...including our roaches. I haven't had a problem yet, but the last thing I want is to find a 3" monster has made his home inside a hide of upholstery leather. I am also considering aluminum tubes, but those can get pricey!
  3. I will be building a new workshop from the ground up later this year, so I am planning machinery layouts and so on, but my question is about leather storage. I am integrating 6"x6"x4' cubbies into my cutting table and want to know what type of wood to use. I am worried about using cedar since it might dry and stain the leather with oil, but I don't know this for a fact...but I like the idea of keeping bugs out. I could also use MDF or sand ply, but these won't keep bugs out. Any suggestions would be very welcome, thanks!
  4. Looks great; love how the design prevents excessive swinging! $20 isn't enough for that, maybe $25 or even $30. My only recommendation is to have a die made, cut your time down to 20 mins/piece, and fund this hobby with a new quick-turn product. Great work!
