  1. I spent three days cleaning up the rule. Cleaned up all the rust. Never got to pay two of the project that was to polish up the handle as you can see from the pictures. Includes a Knipshield draw gauge blade which I've never even taken out of the bubble wrap. As mentioned in my other post, I'm trying to free up some money to purchase some KSBlade punches. Asking $120 with free delivery for the draw gauge combo.
  2. The medium Barry King haft has some use to it. The Bob Douglas awl blade has only been used a dozen times or so. I mean for exactly one dozen stitches. That is it. I'm switching to KSBlades and trying to get some money together for my purchase. Won't need such a nice awl if I'm relying on the irons to do the work. This combination brand new costs about $90 including shipping. I'm asking $75 delivered to your door.
  3. you know, every time I use it I can't help think the same thing. It looks like elmers, it smells like elmer's, it feels like elmer's... I'm not being critical of it, I love using it and I love the results I get with it. Can't recommend it highly enough. Bag looks great. I've been wrestling with a design in my head for a while with the intent of trying my hand at one of these as well. My only "critique" would be the same as bikermutt's - you could also try lining it. Can I ask a few questions that I'm wrestling with in my design? - What weight leather did you use? - What size prongs did you use? 4mm? - Where did you get your hardware? Cheers, gg
  4. Sold! Thanks everybody.
  5. Favorite.... That's really hard to choose... In theory this would be my favorite. I just love the idea of it - slightly smaller size with different blade angles on either side. It just seems like more thought has gone into the versatile design of this knife than most head/round knives. Maybe it's just my lack of experience with head knives that has kept me from ever using it... On a practical level, I use my bevel point and curved detail knives on every project. I didn't know what sharp was until I used one of Terry's knives.
  6. I put this off as long as I could but the day has finally come. Up for sale is my brand new unused knipknives French model head knife. I bought five blades from Terry several months ago. I knew I over ordered but I couldn't make up my mind which ones I wanted until I held all of them. This was the one I was most excited about. Unfortunately I did overbuy for my budget and this is the one I am forced to sell. Since it is still in brand new, unused condition I am asking $245. One upside is this includes free shipping. Another upside is you don't have to wait 3 months for it! Just three days. Includes leather sheath. Let me know if you have any questions. Eric
  7. Hi, I would like to purchase the Dixon screw crease, Japanese plane, French skiver, Blanchard wing divider, and L'Indispensable knife if still available. i will send a PM.
  8. So I have been bitten bad by the leatherworking bug. The biggest problem with this is my realization of how expensive this hobby is... That being said, I'm selling everything that's not tied down to pay for it. In addition to lots of sport functionality (hiking, triathlon, skiing, golf, etc), it also functions as a daily activity tracker, sleep tracker, and smart watch for phone, email, and text notifications. It comes with a premium DiModello water resistant band which I have treated further with Obenhauf's LP. Water rolls off of this thing. Watch band and watch show signs of wear from normal usage but still in great shape. Very faint mark on the face that I don't notice unless I look for it.Comes with garmin wrenches to change straps which normally aren't included in this model. Also includes original red rubber strap, heart rate monitor, and all original accessories including original box. This watch currently sells for $500 new without the strap or wrenches.http://www.clevertraining.com/garmin-fenix-3-multisport-training-watchAsking $350 fully insured TYD. Paypal G&S - I pay fees. Let me know if anyone has any questions! Please someone give this a good home so I can buy more tools and leather!
  9. Would you consider shipping to US? If so do you know how much it would cost? I've been looking to pick one of these up for a while.
  10. What size thread did you use for this?
  11. Just to clarify, you are only selling the Tina blade, not the l'indispensable handle?
  12. If anyone is interested in the contact info for the maker please pm me directly. for anyone who may be interested in these two tools, price is now $25 each with free delivery. Will only sell as a pair.
  13. So I found a former Dixon employee who is continuing to hand craft Dixon style tools in the UK. I ordered a size 1 and a size 2 to try out. I like them, but I'm constantly trying out new tools so I have some other items I need to pay for so last in first out... They currently sell for over $46 a piece which includes shipping from the UK. It for some reason took almost two months for them to arrive because of current customs scrutiny on all items from Europe (or so I was told). I'm asking $35 each which includes free delivery. Let me know if you have any questions.
  14. sold! Thanks leatherworker.net!
  15. I just picked up some tools from slipangle on the forums and don't need two sets, so these have to go to help finance the purchase. I am selling two cocobolo rotary tools with a total of five grooves measuring: 1/8", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" (for those who are fraction illiterate like me that is: 2/16", 4/16", 5/16", 6/16", 8/16") Each also has a hole burnishing tip. These sell for $28 each on their website, or $56 for both. I'm just asking $16 per burnisher plus $3 shipping, so $35 total. I will only sell as a set. I would prefer PayPal "friends and family" but am ok with "goods and services" if that makes you more comfortable. PM me with any questions.
  16. I am incredibly excited about this tool and I can't wait to receive it. Slipangle, thank you so much for posting your custom, one of a kind creations in the market place on this forum. It's a treat for leather hobbyists like myself (who come here on a regular basis to learn and grow in the craft) to have access to great products like yours. I would never be able to find anything like this if I just went to the local Tandy store. Trying new and unique toys like this and new processes I discover on this forum is what keeps this craft constantly exciting and fresh. And that in turn is what keeps me coming back to the site. So again, thank you! gg
  17. Looking into pricking irons too and wondering if there is any one else who has experience with Amy Roke or KSBlade irons. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
