About Me
Preparing for my retirement from the #1 CNC Machine Tool builder in North America as a product design manager. Id like to learn the skills and trade of fine leather product design and fabrication in the next few years. I currently own a Singer 201k M2, a Juki 441 clone, a Claes 30 with servo drive, a Landis 16 with servo drive, a Seiko 50mm Cylinder arm, and a Success Fur Sewer with analog drive. A suite of shoe makers bench mounted equipment i.e. Landis 5 in 1, Landis model 30, American 6" splitter, Osbourne Lap Spitter, Weaver Slitter, Weaver Blue Grass Edger, Cobra skiver,
Its very fun this path I have chosen but very challenging. The people in the community of leather working have a real appreciation for the trade and the associated skills. I like it! Hopefully we will have communication sometime in the future about something. I'm a beginner and have much to learn
