  1. So I thnk I got it figure out BUT i am only getting 5mm height for both feet in max settings. What was happen was, the long bag the holds the back foot was hitting the edge of the top tension bold instead of going inside. This results iit clocking noise or the front foot putting more pressure on the needle plate. So what I did is push the tension bolt down more so the back bar is going inside and stay inside instead of going out when it is going up and down. This lessen the pressure on the front bag and pushes the back foot higher to march the front foot height. See pictures below and diagram. Highlighter in yellow and blue. As you can tell from the pictures below. I am only getting 5mm for both foot at max settings. I feel like I could more since this is a pfaff 335. I think I could probably get 7mm. It is 11mm when foot lever is up. That is something I might experiment in the future.
  2. Not new. I am familiar with german machine. Yes, people do mess up german sewing machines a lot as they have lower tolerance compare to the japanese or americans.
  3. I did that too. When that happens, the smaller feet has a higher clearance that the back. say for example the front feet will go up by 4mm, the back feet will be at 2mm. I even try putting more layer of fabric in the back. when that happen, the front feet is pushing down with too much pressure that the needle plate sometime is bending.
  4. That is what I did. What ends up doing is the front feet height is at 5mm while the back feet height is 3 mm. wing nut is at lowest setting, This results into fabric getting stuck between the front foot and back foot.
  5. Have you checked this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQihrdtPIxE
  6. Hello All, Got a problem here. Pfaff 335 - already looked at uwe video and other manual instruction and also search other threads but still not fix the issue. The back feet height is not even with the front feet weight when sewing. This results into fabric getting stuck between the front feet and back feet. Also, put the feet height in max setting on the back with the wing nut. I cannot adjust the back feet independently as the back feet seems to be dependent on the front feet. I am stuck and still do not know any other way to have the height balance with the feet? Anybody got other ways? here is the video https://streamable.com/076fy7
  7. Hi uwe, Follow the steps on the video but now I have another problem on my pfaff 335 Soon as I start using the machine, the front feet is pushing more pressure onto the needle plate and i can see the needle plate bend down a little bit? Have you encounter this before? If you have, what is the solution? Thank You
  8. Can you explain this as I am going through the same problem as on my pfaff 335 and I look at that manual and my presser foot is not lifiting or even adjusting at all. Thank you.
  9. I am about to be 35 this december. Single right now. How i see it and I would only want to get married once, if it does not work out. I will not get married again. Also, i would want my SO to sign prenup. Any advise for me?

  11. You should watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avr3pN_udMA
  12. I see. The yellow part is the part that presses on tension pin and releases the tension. Well i guess it is doable and now just needs to order parts. Thank you!
  13. I see, Do you mind taking a picture of you green pfaff 335, where the hand lifter and the bar lifting is releasing the tension. I just want to make sure once and for all and it can work. Thank You!
  14. Hello Jimi, Thank for the PDF and pictures! Now i see how the hand lifter can release the tension because the upper lifter is much higher. Also, the bar lifter is certainly higher on the white. Have you tried putting the lifting parts from green to the white one? Can it release the tension. I think you just need the parts from the green and put it on the white to make it work. I do not think the foot bar on the white is needed although, it does make things easier. See pictures below. I circled in blue. Also see 2nd pictures (not mine) The only thing I would keep in the white is the hand lifter. The rest of them can be taken from the green. I do not need the knee lifter but maybe in the future I will. Any suggestions is welcome. Thank You
  15. Hello Everyone! Long time lurker here. I have received many suggestions from this forum, especially with machines I recently acquire a pfaff 335 that looks like it specialize in actual factory work. As you can tell from the second picture. It was two arm levers in the back. Top releases thread tension and bottom is for lifting the presser feet. 1. My question is, how can i convert it into one arm? Honestly, i do not need the arms. I prefer using the hand lifter. The problem is, the hand lifter does not release the tension. see picture 3. 2. What parts do i need to use the hand lifter so I can release the thread tension? NOTE - I just purchase the tension pin. I also look into another from from jimi and it help a lot although still unsure. Any help or suggestions is welcome.
