New holsters this month
Hammerheadc4 replied to RickPleasant's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Nice holsters.....That looks like a TISAS Stingray. My first Tisas was the Duty 9mm, then I got the Stingray 9mm, then the Tank Commander...both TC's in 9mm and 45acp. I had a few 1911 holsters laying around that fit them, but when I get caught up with the yard work around my place, I will make all of them a couple of holsters. Again, NICE job on the Holsters, very clean looking. Where did you get the paddles? -
Pretty Cool

Funny you should say that...When I was going to the garage to assemble it, my wife said "I bet you feel like a kid on Christmas morning." They sent a drop down guide with it, not sure how I like it yet. Just have to get more comfortable with feathering the pedal and practicing the spiral and square stitch pattern.

Thanks Bladegrinder and Doninreno, the tips on how to practice are MUCH appreciated.

Thanks, It didn't occur to me to glue the test pieces....I will start doing that. Lots of things to keep an eye on and get used to...little bit of tinkering too.

I ordered a CB6900 from Neel's Saddelry on the 20th, I picked it up from the trucking terminal on the 31st. I have to say everything went smoothly, got everything I ordered. No problems at the trucking company. The machine was really packaged very well, never seen anything protected so much in my 68 years. Assembly was pretty easy thanks to all the videos on you tube. I watched evrything I could find on the CB6900, TS4800 and Thor GC1341...Cobra 26 also!! TechSew has some great videos on the 4800 (They couldn't do a pedestal stand) Some good videos on the Thor too. (they were NPS or speed reducer..Not both) Thank you Wild Harry....Your videos were very helpful I'm retired and working with leather is a hobby for me. (I started about ten months ago.) It's the first time I used a sewing machine, Looks like I'll be sewing many, many test pieces before I try a project.

I ordered my CB6900 from Neel's on the Friday the 20th, it shipped on the 27th, should be at the terminal the 31st. I ordered it with: NPS and a speed reducer Pedestal Stand Drop down Edge guide Flat work table LED light Thread 138 and 207 Extra needles and bobbins Left toe presser foot I'll pick it up from the terminal when it gets here. It will be interesting to see how it arrives. I will start a new thread when it gets here.

The Thor GC-1341 at Sunny Sewing Machines was one of the machines I was considering before I purchased mine. I passed on it because I wanted NPS and a speed reducer. I called and talked to them, at the time their "myshopify" website had a drop down menu offering NPS or Speed Reducer. (after our discussion the speed reducer was removed from the menu) So the guy I talked to said he could install a speed reducer but I would lose the NPS...it's advertised as NPS with speed control. Give them a call they answered all my questions, Dali was very helpful...they just couldn't build the machine I wanted. I ended up ordering a Cowboy CB6900 from Neel's Saddlery
