I made a bunch of these a couple of years ago. Maybe about 20

The year before I made Christmas trees. About 4 to 6 inches tall. Again, made about 20

I don't seem to have photos of the trees, or I can't find them

On a couple of the stockings I left the top unsewn and put some sweets (candy) in

I used red & green chrome tan (and scraps of faux fleece) but brown or other colours will work just as well

my late mother made some of those but in felt of different  colours with a little mouse sitting inside  the boot, so cute .

I still hang them on the tree every  year.

My Mom made them like that. Years later, I saw that in restuarants and other places, they make a very high merangue. I prefer this ratio, as too much merangue disagrees with my bearded state.

We've also got pumpkin, cherry, and a nice cheesecake. I'll be making some jalapeno poppers and some stuffed mushrooms today as well.
