Contributing Member Samalan Posted November 9, 2022 Contributing Member Report Posted November 9, 2022 Nice work that 277 shows up really good like the copper rivets also I think I would have put them in with the peen to the back and use a dome tool on the front but that's just IMHO all said very nice job. Members Hags Posted November 9, 2022 Author Members Report Posted November 9, 2022 I was told early on that the smooth side goes against the most wear. I still struggle with that occasionally. I have the dome tool as well and like the look. Either, or I guess. Quote

I struggle with it also so I make these shot shell cases for trap so on the back where the leather turns over to make the belt loop I fasten it with two copper rivets and like you say smooth side out to the most wear LOL that leaves the nice bump on the inside against the primers of the shotgun shells ok so in this case smooth side in the box! Contributing Member Samalan Posted November 14, 2022 Contributing Member Report Posted November 14, 2022 even though they are in the box and all that I still don't like the idea of that bump on the inside LOL Quote
