Members Metalhorseman Posted March 27, 2023 Members Report Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) Hey Cowboy Bob ,, can you tell us if it’s true that smaller pulley makes turning hand wheel harder to turn . I have a 2 1/2 diameter maybe it’s a 60 mm lower pulley and it works sweet , controllable but it’s harder to turn by hand,Then another machine that has a bigger lower pulley, or is it my imagination? Members Quade Posted March 27, 2023 Members Report Posted March 27, 2023 Servo's tend to have brakes built into them the make hand turning difficult. Try stepping on the pedal lightly, not enough to activate the motor, then see how easy it is to turn. I removed the brake from my servo motor. Quote
