I found a pair of pruning shears at the local Tractor Supply

these cut 9 oz like it is butter

Good find. I'll have to go to our local supply and see if they have anything similar.

going to TS tomorrow for sure, I have an old pair of medical scissors that cut leather but could use a bigger set for sure.

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

Rockler has one that is similar. Likely same one with different color handles/details. I bought a pair to use when cutting thinner leather, my wife promptly borrowed them. I had to go buy another pair. LOL   https://www.rockler.com/10-extra-heavy-duty-scissors

I use Chicago Cutlery kitchen shears. I believe my wife got them at Walmart.
