Ambassador pete Posted April 17, 2023 Ambassador Report Posted April 17, 2023 what is the best way to clean my brushes after dying? used 90% alcohol and murphys soap, but what is the best? Quote
Members Handstitched Posted April 17, 2023 Members Report Posted April 17, 2023 A lot of the time I just use water and paper towel . Rinse well in water, and clean/dry brushes with paper towel . The paper towel removes pretty much all of the dye, both water based and alcohol based. Simple. HS Quote

I normally just use wool daubers. They are dedicated to a certain color. These I keep in a ziploc baggie with the color of the dye written on the baggie in sharpie. When I use a small brush, I have one of those jars ladies use to remove fingernail polish. I dip the brush in there, then dab it off on a paper towel. Works very well. Something like this... Quote
