I am double checking when painting or dying a leather mask that will have wet molding do I paint or dye before or after I wet mold? was thinking after just seeing if might be doing wrong

i did one after molding it, used an air brush to apply but i think you could do it either way.

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

Depending on how well you want it to fit . . . a light coat of paint . . . like air brush . . . really thin . . . will work.

You'll get better looking results if you do the mask first . . . get it all edged . . . lined . . . cut out . . . etc.

Then paint the thing.  Everytime you wet and try to mold veg tan . . . it remembers some of  the time before . . . so if you want it to really fit right . . . mold it first.

May God bless,

If you can read, . . . thank a teacher.

If you are reading this in English, . . . thank a veteran.
